Dr. Hoffman:
You also mentioned that people need to be aware that some of your patients are going to turn 65 and become Medicare recipients. Good point. Let's also remember, some people find out early from Medicare at age 62 but there are others in the public that are on Medicare for different reasons at a much earlier age and sometimes, and this is where I see the problem. Sometimes, patients will come in and you don't know exactly what kind of coverage they actually have. They may have Medicare and you've been registered as Sam was indicating with Medicare. You were just illegally seeing that patient. I think it's very important for the doctors to realize that this is an important thing to take care of. I want to start this. I want to say these are 2 doctors that teach these stuff all the time. Please, listen to them. That's why we have them on the show like this. Dr. Ken teaches seminars around the country. Sam does the same thing. I mentioned Sam with his network and through HJ Ross seminars. I personally believe that you have to have a coach, a consultant. You have to have someone review in this day and age all of your records the things that you're doing so that you can feel confident that if you were ever audited, you're going to stand a much greater chance of coming away easy and clean because there's too many people and I have, actually, a friend that I'm trying to help because the doctor himself is not doing well. Someone else is trying to take care of this Medicare audit. It's disrupting their entire life. We don't want that for anybody. That's why I'm passionate about people going. Especially Sam, can you tell people what kind of cost there is to join just the network itself, forgetting the seminars, what is this network? Here's the thing. With the network, here's what I would tell doctors. First of all, what you're getting is we teach about 75 seminars a year and I lecture to about 7500 chiropractors. I keep my finger on the pulse, I hear what's going on. We offer service that goes beyond really just having a seminar where you hear it one time. What the network does it once you join, you can call me, email me or fax me on an unlimited basis on any topic. It could be really simple, "Hey, I need a new code," or it could be I've got an audit. Here's what I would tell you. It's worth it. Join the network because please let me review the records before you send them because I'm going to be just as critical as Medicare and can help you to make sure, "Oh let's make sure that these are correct." Now, I'm not saying I'm making you change notes but I'm making sure there's addendums or attestations to make sure that we can make it correct. In addition, most of the time when I've done that, doctors almost always go through, well, because it's not hard. The information is there. It's just not always complete. Maybe it's someplace else. The network is 220 a year which, of course, that's a ChiroSecure deal. That's a little bit less than the normal 255. It gives you access in that way and to give an example just to make sure everyone's aware right now. October 1st, ICD-10 codes updated. They also updated for Medicare. Now, the ones that are important are cervical disk codes. What they did was they updated the codes that were for mid-cervical disk to be specific for C4, 5 and so on.
