before we actually hire so that they become a good representation of me whenever they get on the phone or have any interaction with any of our insured's or prospective insured's. When you're hiring people, what are you looking for to fit into your chiropractic setting? That's a great question. First of all, I don't hire for skills. Let me back up, I can train someone how to be a chiropractic assistant, that's what I do. What I do hire for are those characteristics. We sat down and crafted, I think, about 42 or 43 characteristics of our ideal team member. I don't list all those in our classified ad, I only list about 5. I list the 5 most important characteristics because I can't teach somebody to be detail oriented. God knows if I could, Dr. Tom would be detail oriented and he's not. I can teach skills. We hire for those characteristics that I mentioned and then we test for the skills so we're not taking someone's word that they have computer literacy, that they're able to alphabetize because it's amazing how many people cannot, that they're going to be able to not transpose numbers, etc. We hire for characteristics, we test for skills and then when we interview, we're looking for all the intangibles. We're looking for the attitude. We're looking for the smile. We're looking for those other things that you can't test and making sure that everybody is cohesive, that they understand what it we do. That they understand where we want to go and that they are excited to be a part of that, not just that sounds okay. Yes. Absolutely. If I'm understanding your correctly, when you look to hire new staff, the most important part really is their enthusiasm for being in that office and what you do and most important, from what I got to hear from you, is the why you do what you do. Is that correct? Exactly. It really is always about the why because ... first of all, obviously, we're assuming they have the basic skills. We're assuming they tested out correctly. Once they have those skills and they have the characteristics, it's always about the why. We got to start with that. They need to understand and get behind Dr. Tom's vision of his practice and our mission for our office. They need to understand the why. What our objectives are, what are goals are for our client. They need to understand chiropractic because obviously, if they're not on board with chiropractic, they're not going to be a good chiropractic assistant. There's just no way. Too many times people skip through those items. Most people don't even explain what a chiropractic assistant is. They just hire for a CA, they explain the Did that answer your question?
