Dr. Smith:
Absolutely.
Dr. Hoffman:
I think that those types of programs, those podcasts, are so important for our doctors to participate in. I really support what you're doing with that because there are different ways, and I know we're going to talk about this a little bit later on, to actually incorporate and be empowered through the research that already exists. One of the things that we strive to educate the doctors about, even when we were talking about the stroke issues, is the more evidence-based information you have and you own ... We give all of the research summaries with our informed consent to our doctors so that they can study it, own it, so that when they're discussing any of this with a patient or a perspective patient, they are empowered and they're not being defensive, but educational. Having a podcast like that that offers up the opportunity for the doctors to be educated and to start to know and be familiar and own what's out there, I just want to say that I think it's essential. Thank you. I really appreciate those comments. One of the things that I've done with the podcast is I actually send the links to my patients to listen to some of the podcast, especially if, for example, they have questions about how does a chiropractic adjustment work, how could it possibly relate to this condition or that condition. Now what I've been doing is just saying, "Why don't you listen to my podcast where I interview this person?" I found that a good way not only to educate the doctors, but also to educate your patients and presumably other healthcare practitioners in your community. I'm just trying to do my part, Dr. Hoffman, and get this information out there. I realize there's lots of different ways to do that, but it's simply one that I can help. With the research, we here at ChiroSecure have always been involved and supportive of chiropractic research. I'm not going to go on and on about the research we've done or support or anything else. You're another person out there that's absolutely interested in getting to this to the doctors. Whatever it takes, we're supporting because I just want the doctors to understand, as loud and clear as I could make it, how important it is. Because you just brought up another thing that I don't want to be overlooked. When I talked to a medical doctor just recently, he was talking about statints. He has a very different perspective on it than I do and he's simply telling me that, in a room of over 500 internists, when asked how many of the internists are not on a statint for their cholesterol, five hands went up. He thinks that's saying how safe statints are because these people are bought into it whether the science is there or not. What I'm trying to say is that my perspective is totally different. They drank the Kool-Aid. If that many internists think that we're lacking statints that everyone on the planet needs to take them, something's wrong with that. When we know that what we do as chiropractors is so powerful, we need to get that information out in a way not only that the patients understand, but other doctors and attorneys and all of the different professionals in your community can understand and get and have access to. You said that; I just wanted to elaborate on that based on a recent Thank you. Just wanted to add that.
