Measure 182 – Functional Assessment
• We are informing Medicare when there is functional deficiency and that there is a follow up plan for care. • The purpose of this measure is for CMS to collect data on when functional outcome assessments are conducted, using a standardized tool, along with the creation of a treatment plan based on the functional deficiencies found. • It can also be reported when there is no deficiency and no follow up is required • There is also reporting for situations where the patient refuses or provider is unable to obtain the measure or determine a follow up.
