ChiroSecure's Best Of Live Events

they're going to have to then realize how they have to put them on either a cash plan or some sort of wellness program visit by visit because insurance is just not going to pay forever. This isn't the 1980s. I just wanted to see if that's something that you're agreeing with. Oh, no. In fact, I will be the first to say especially coming from a chiropractic family, insurance helps to pay part of a patient's care. Let's really call insurance what it is. It's not health insurance. It's sick insurance. They're going to pay for that period of time when the person is "sick". Once they get to what is an insurance normal level then they're going to say no longer medically necessary. You and I both know for health it's a little bit different and more and more people are beginning to understand that. I think many doctors should be working towards getting their patients to understand the difference of what will insurance cover versus what should they really do to be healthy. Obviously, an insurance company doesn't pay to eat the right foods or exercise but those are important. Chiropractic adjustment would definitely be part of that. Just make sure that the patients understand it. They sign and understand that the services they're receiving currently because they're not any acute problem are cash and that way the patients can understand, "Okay, I'm really paying for wellness." They're more likely to buy in and understand that and this patient will then become a lifetime patient and one who understands it and it's likely to refer other people that have the same mindset. Again, part of that certainly starts with insurance but there's no reason you can't take that patient and utilize their insurance at the beginning. Then once you get them into a wellness or a maintenance or real healthcare put them into cash and the patients will appreciate it. That's perfect, Sam. I want to thank you for staying on. I know we went over what we normally would have expected, but once we got everything rolling your information I think was terrific and valuable for our doctors that are watching. I want to thank you for taking the time. I really appreciate you and all you do. Again, as Sam said please go to the website hjrossnetwork.com. Correct, Sam?
