Community Happenings Autumn
Out and about Our outings this quarter stirred up plenty of memories. At Shorncliffe pier we picnicked by the water, and many of us remembered bringing our own children there. At the Redcliffe Museum we shared stories of the area from our younger years as we explored the exhibits. The fish and chip lunch on Bribie Island was a favourite, with some of us returning for the first time in more than 50 years, amazed at how much had changed and full of stories about catching the ferry across. A picnic on the waterfront closer to home rounded out the season.
