Mike’s Subs has been rapidly expanding throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) region with the help of real estate partner KLNB , one of the area’s largest privately held commercial real estate bro- kerage firms. In total, KLNB has closed 17 deals for Jer- sey Mike’s across the DMV over the past 18 months, for a total of nearly 27,000 s/f and a lease volume of $10.46 million. KLNB has a long- standing partnership with Jersey Mike’s and has rep- resented the company’s real estate interests throughout the DMV for eight years. KLNB principal Ryan Minnehan and retail spe- cialist Michael Ginsburg represent Jersey Mike’s throughout Maryland and have played a key role in their growth strategy. “We’re proud to have a strong part- nership with the Jersey Mike’s team,” said Ginsburg. “They have a savvy real es- tate team that is looking for topnotch opportunities with maximum exposure, supe- rior accessibility and strong co-tenancy in the heart of major retail corridors and we have been able to deliver on fantastic opportunities for them.” “When you look at the Bal- timore metro market as a whole, Jersey Mike’s is one of the few franchises that is expanding so rapidly,” added Minnehan. “They have a strong business model – they invest in the communities in which they do business and truly live up to their slogan of being a sub above – and customers notice.” In Virginia, KLNB retail specialist Billy Kelly has closed seven deals over the past 14 months and in DC, principal Matt Skalet closed on the franchise's location at the Shops at Dakota Cross- ing. “KLNB has been instru- mental in our rapid expan- sion throughout the region,” said Jersey Mike’s director of real estate Elizabeth Hutchi- son. “Our growth strategy is aggressive, and we knew we needed a real estate partner that could ladder up to our goals. KLNB has been there every step of the way.” 
