Floating itself was first invented by a neuroscientist, John C Lily about 50 years ago where he conducted experiments which were far ahead of his time. Over the past ten years, due to the increasing change in the environment and pressure from society, people are dealing with higher stress levels and anxiety. Which is why floating is getting more recognition globally as one of the therapies to decrease stress and anxiety. Top athletes such as Stephen Curry and Tom Brady put this therapy as part of their regime. There is no side effect to this therapy. For the first time floaters, they can emerge from the tank feeling nauseous. But this is good because that means the built-up stress is leaving the body. We know this is a pretty new treatment for wellness on the island, and that you may be wondering what you should do if you want to try your first float. We encourage that you come with an open mind.
