2022 PSI Catalog

Here we are with the excitement of another season ahead. Despite many challenges we all faced in the last year, we are confident that everyone had a solid sales season. Our industry’s growth overall with so many new and expanding consumers is giving us such a bright future to look forward to this year. Plant Source International continues to build its genetics list and is expanding with many new introductions from Westflowers. Westflowers’ highlights include a new series of 7 colors of Angelonia, additions to all of their Calibrachoa series, and new introductions for the Petunia Crazytunia series. Most exciting, however, is the re-introduction of the orange flowering petunias with the new deregulation from the USDA, withmany improvements in the Hells series and Perfectunia. We are also a proud partner with Suntory Flowers and have continued to expand our offering of their innovative breeding. Most notably, we’ve expanded the Petunia offerings and added the Catharanthus Kawaii series, which is a non-stop champion for the hottest time of the year. We are actively trialing other breakthrough items from Suntory Flowers and will be showcasing those as late-season introductions or for the 2022/23 season. Volmary has some excellent breeding in the Thunbergia line that is the Sunny-Susy breeding (AKA Arizona). We have greatly expanded this lineup of unique colors and plan to have the new Sunny-Susy Cherry later this year as elite material becomes available. While our production standards, quality, and reliability have reached all-time highs, freight and logistics became our obstacles and challenges to deal with this season. We are exploring alternative routes to provide additional options that will manage these challenges in the future. We know our promise to you doesn’t end until high-quality unrooted cuttings reach your doorstep, and we will continue to improve on this process and remain a reliable partner to your business. One change in our foliage offering this year is that our Ipomoea will only be possible off-shore and therefore only available to our Canadian customers. We are exploring new stock sites for domestic production, and we hope to offer them back to the United States very soon. As always, we thank every one of you for your continued support of the Plant Source International program year after year. Your partnership and patronage are very much appreciated. We will continue to strive for improvements every year and appreciate your feedback and comments. Your PSI Team, Troy, Mauricio, Amy, Julie, Linda, Veronica, and Yaneli
