Education Division Rules 1. Educational Exhibits may be the work of more than one(1) individual or organization. However, if a Student or Accredited Judge is seeking exhibiting credit, the work must be done solely by the individual and entered accordingly. 2. Plant material is not required, although NGC encourages the use of plant material where appropriate. 3. Educational value is very important. Handout material adds to Educational value, but is not required. 4. The space provided will be a 6' long, three(3) tiered white riser with 10" shelves to be placed in front of a grey curtain. An exhibit must occupy a minimum of eighteen (18) square feet of surface area. 5. Scale of points for Educational Exhibits are listed in Chapter 14 in HB. Floriculture - Section 113 - Additional Awards Friday and Wednesday I2-350 J2-350 Cash award and the Award of Horticultural Excellence offered to the named blue ribbon exhibit scoring 95 or more in the entire Horticulture Division. It may go to an Award of Merit or Arboreal Award winner or to a blue ribbon winner in some section not covered by these awards.
