RULES, REGULATIONS AND INFORMATION
1. This division is open to PROFFESIONALS ONLY! Please no Amateurs! 2. Pre- enter on Carolina Classic Fair entry blank Please include Federal ID number for Association on entry blanks. 3. IF YOU ENTER, YOU MUST COMPETE! All Categories MUST be Filled. 4. Entries are Open to Members of the Winston Salem Florist Association who: A) are in good standing (dues paid), B) are employees or Owners (Please note: If a shop is a member of WSFA, then all employees are considered members. All employees may enter, but only one entry per person per category per Shop. (Cannot allow 2 employees from the same shop in the same category.) 5. Materials can be fresh, dried, natural, or silk, unless otherwise specified for a particular design, all items considered to be a wearable (IE: Hat/ Headdress, Jewelry, Body Flower, Mask ) must be able to be wearable piece to present to the Judges. 6. Props, Accessories, or any other part of the exhibit may not be removed until the end of the show as stated by the Carolina Classic Fair Handbook. 7. Such Props and Accessories are at your own risk. The show Superintendent, Fair Committee, and the WSFA will Assume NO Responsibility for loss and/or damage to personal property. 8. Prize Monies will be donated to the Winston Salem Florist Association. 9. Each individual category may have its own additional set of rules and regulations. The WSFA will provide exhibitor with rules and regulations upon receipt of entry form. Judges and exhibitors will be advised of height and width restrictions. Professional Florists - Section 101 "I Like Calling North Carolina Home" Premiums: 1st: $50.00 2nd: $45.00 3rd: $40.00 4th: $35.00 K-1 Ocracoke Beach NC: A Della Stephens design displayed on a 3' X 6' free standing wall/ door, to be hung by a metal door wreath hanger,Not to exceed the 3' X 3' X 6' perimeters a 3X5 card must be displayed with a description/ interpretation of your design, 4 Entries. K-2 North Carolina Military: A Sympathy design displayed on a 48”/ 52” METAL EASEL not to exceed 36” in diameter, A design of your choice of Military Branch of Service. 4 Entries. K-3 Biltmore Estates, Asheville NC: A Buffet Piece presented on a 32” high by 32” diameter table, no taller than 3' high, (A black base tablecloth will be provided) all other tablecloths, décor, and styling provided by the designer must be within the taste level of the category, 4 Entries. K-4 Reynolda Gardens, Winston Salem NC: A Unique and Artistic approach of a Bridal Bouquet,Presented on a 14” X 41” pedestal, not to exceed 24” diameter, other presentation décor at the discretion of the designer, 4 Entries . K-5 Cherokee NC: Native Regalia Headdress/ Headpiece, must be able to be worn, presented on a 18” X 24” module, not to exceed 36”diameter and 36” tall, 4 Entries. K-6 The Emerald and Reed Gold Mines of NC: A wearable Jewelry Item of your choice to be presented on a 14”X 41” pedestal, 4 Entries.
