Dear Friends of the Fair, There’s “Magic In The Fair”! The Fair will be here before you know it and it is going to be MAGICAL! We sincerely appreciate every one of you who attended last year. There is no better way to create new memories than spending it at the 2023 Carolina Classic Fair. This year the Carolina Classic Fair will celebrate our 141 st fair in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. We have some of your favorite entertainment returning and numerous new and magical shows that we are adding for your enjoyment. Some of the entertainment this year will feature Extreme Illusions & Escapes, a family friendly Las Vegas style illusion show consisting of large scale, modern illusions, and edge of your seat, dangerous escapes. Strolling around the grounds you will also meet a Mythical Creature face to face, featuring “the Dragon Tamer” riding a dragon or carrying around a Baby Male Dragon. PIGS ARE BACK!!! Featuring Show -Me Swine Racing Pigs with 3 fun filled exciting races per show. Rock-N-Circus – featuring Shane Hansen and his acrobatic death-defying shows. Tanzanite African Acrobats – high energy acrobatics mingled with pyramid building, chair stacks and hand balancing, all set to African beats. In the Annex Market Place, we have the brand new The Nascar Experience that puts you in various Nascar simulators to immerse you into the racing experience. For the kids and young at heart we will have RC2U Portable Racing featuring 1/10 scale stock car and monster truck RC racing on an indoor track for our racing enthusiast to test their skills. Be sure to look for all our strolling entertainment featuring Magic Man TJ Hill, the Living Zultar and Alford E Gator and more that will be located all over the grounds. Don’t forget to visit our always popular Yesterday Village to see our Wood Bowl Turner – Roger Abrahamson, Tin Smith – Michael Felk, Chainsaw Carver - Michael Ayers, and other Candle Making, Pottery, Loom, Glass Blowing, and Blacksmith demonstrations. There will also be nightly Wine Tastings and our Special Foods competitions to enjoy. The Grandstand will be full of excitement with our Demo Derby’s and Figure 8 Racing, Rodeos, Tractor Pulls and other musical entertainment. Make plans to visit the Fair several times to meet your friends and create a lifetime of Magical memories.
