All custom designed exhibits are being built by TRX Dinosaurs of Sedona, AZ in collaboration with Dinosaur Ridge, relying on the latest scientific research from the fossil record. Each Exhibit Zone will include signage with a call-to-action to explore additional Colorado museums. Consider this a Welcome Center for Colorado Prehistoric Natural History, giving visitors a sense of how much the terrain, climate, and local plant and animal life have changed over 300 million years. * SIX EXHIBIT ZONES OF THE DEEP TIME DETOUR EXPERIENCE

Colorado’s state fossil, the Stegosaurus, was first discovered a short distance from here in 1876 on the section of hogback now called Dinosaur Ridge. The herbivore had plates along its back and a spiked tail for defense from predators like the Ceratosaurus.

ENDOWMENT DONATION

A permanent endowment is an invested pool of money that provides a reliable source of income in perpetuity. Dinosaur Ridge is currently building its general Endowment Fund to ensure the long-term future financial health of the organization. You can contribute to our General Endowment Fund by making an outright gift, through a pledge payable over a number of years, or through a planned gift.

In August of 2018, we joined the family of Nonprofit Endowment Partners at Colorado Gives Foundation.

We are excited to be partnering with Colorado Gives Foundation to grow our endowment and ensure the long-term financial viability of Dinosaur Ridge.
