left to feather his nest, he got at the groves also and made an end of them. His father laid the ax at the root of the trees, but his son put the edge of the ax into the trees themselves. His work two-fold destruction and construction. He pulled down and root-ed up in a vigorous manner; then he built up and strengthened by the Word of God. He had a Bible revival. Our -own people, like Israel, have departed from the faith of the fathers. Idol worship multiplies; there are high places in the schools and groves, in the slums, shrines in the systems and altars of worship in the workshop. There is corruption in the courts of the politicians, and rottenness in the marts of trade. We need to imitate Jehosaphac and put first things first. Righteousness is only to be found in God through Jesus Christ, His Son. Give God the best place in our lives, put prayer and service to the front, displace the traditions of the schools with the Truth, ignore them and cling to the certitudes of the Word of God, inaugurate a revival of the teaching of the Word of God. Let men and women of faith, with the Bible in their hands, go through the land teaching the people its precepts and expounding its , truths and magnifying its message, and the God of all grace will give abundant blessing. The enemies can be put to flight if we will but "Believe in the Lord our God, and we will like Jehosaphat and his followers, be able to sing a "Halleluiah Chorus" • "Praise the Lord." Chap. 20:20-25.
