Grants Farm is a great way to spend a day while visiting St. Louis.

Grants Farm President Ulysses S. Grant founded and farmed this land that has been preserved and is now operated by Anheuser-Busch. Take the tram ride and see wildlife from six of the seven continents around the world. Feed animals in the petting zoo and get close to kangaroos, tortoises, and colorful birds. Before you leave, make sure to visit the Clydesdale stables. www.grantsfarm.com Of course, you’re welcome to pull out your wallets and experience more of St. Louis. Explore the Mississippi on a paddle wheeler or tour high above the arch in a helicopter. Visit Six Flags St. Louis, cheer for the MLB’s Cardinals and NHL’s Blues. Enjoy the gaming and easy- on-the-budget buffets at one of the area’s five casinos. Fine dining and shopping is available throughout the city and the area’s theaters host Broadway shows and concerts of all styles of music. So, pack up, head on down Route 66, and follow Judy Garland’s advice to “Meet Me in St. Louis.”
