Calligrapher Donald Jackson, MVO, Scribe to the House of Lords and her majesty Queen Elizabeth II created the Bible with gold and platinum leaf on vellum, using hand- made inks and quills. He also developed the lettering used in the Bible. The Saint John’s Bible Gallery features changing exhibitions of 28original folios. The gallery also includes rare books and manuscripts from its collections along with tools, materials, and sketches used in making the Bible. There is no admission charge.
