Wellesley Public Schools: Fiscal Year 2026 Budget

Music Instruction / Therapy: +0.20 FTE Music Teacher Currently, PAWS students receive music instruction/therapy through contracted services. Rather than using contracted services, PAWS has requested a 0.20 FTE Music teacher to provide instruction to PAWS students one day per week. A current music teacher will be assigned to this opening, which will ensure the continuity of services PreK – grade 12. -0.20 Speech and Language Pathologist Based on an annual review of student Individual Education Program (IEP) needs the Director of PAWS and the Director of Student Services have recommended the reduction of a 0.20 FTE speech and language pathologist position next year.
