Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA): +0.40 FTE BCBA Based on an annual review of student needs, the Assistant Director of Specialized Programs and the Director of Student Services have recommended expanding the BCBA position to full-time through the reduction of unfilled Behavioral Technician positions at Hardy Elementary School. This position was expanded (through the closure of two behavioral technician positions) in FY’25 after the adoption of the Adjusted Budget was voted and will remain filled in school year 2025-2026. -1.00 FTE Districtwide BCBA This position has focused on student-facing and staff support for the last two years, in addition to out-of-district case consultation, observation, evaluation, and team support. Given the realignment of the Student Services department and the focus of this position, the position will be reclassified as an Out-of-District (OOD) team chair and BCBA. Districtwide Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA): Districtwide School Adjustment Counselor: -1.00 FTE School Adjustment Counselor Although a resource for the district, the current school psychologists (5 at the High School and 3 at the Middle School) and School Adjustment Counselor at each level can absorb the consultative work on the screener implementation, Department of Children and Family Services consultation, and crisis teams. -1.00 FTE School Psychologist Although a district resource, the current Middle and High School psychologists can absorb the evaluative and consultative work on mental health screener implementation. Districtwide School Psychologist: Instructional Support Professional: +1.00 FTE MLL Teaching Assistant Based on changing student needs, this multilingual language learner (MLL) teaching assistant position was added in FY’25 after the adoption of the Adjusted Budget and will remain filled in school year 2025-2026.
