o FY’23 expended = FY’23 Award – FY’24 Carryforward Year 2 ($50K - $0 = $50K) and the FY’22 remaining award = FY’23 Carryforward Year 2 – FY’24 Carryforward Year 3 ($40 - $10K = $30K) resulting in a FY’23 expenditure amount of $50K + $30K = $80K o FY’24 expended = FY’24 Award – FY’25 Carryforward Year 2 ($50K - $0 = $50K) and the FY’22 remaining award = FY’24 Carryforward Year 3 ($10K) resulting in a FY’24 expenditure amount of $50K + $10K = $60K Not all federal grants have a carry forward provision nor does the district seek to carry forward funds on an annual basis.
