The University is now seeking to make the key appointment to the post of Principal Engineer within the Facilities Estate Operations team. The postholder will take the lead role in ensuring statutory provision of a safe and compliant built estate that delivers high performing strategic and operational services. Managing a team of professional engineers, you will have comprehensive managerial experience and understanding of building engineering and site infrastructure services, planned and condition- based life-cycle maintenance, project and contract management experience. You will collaborate and support the wider Facilities Leadership Team in the development and delivery of the Facilities vision and strategy. With a background and professional qualification in building services, you will possess a proven track record understanding the fundamentals of engineering and applying them to a campus environment.
