They readily accept the literature, which is prepared with great care for thi s purpose, and many are the conversions resulting from thi s work. Arrangements a re being made for the erection of build ings at this point a lso, suitabl e to house the mi ss ionaries and students. Biola Hall Our City Miss ion at 421 South Main St reet is admirably located for the work which is being conducted there. Thou sands of men pass its doors, day and night. The Hall is light, cheery, and well equipped for definit e, persona l, evangelistic wo rk. Meetings are held in the entrance of the hall, which is so arranged that at least fifty men can gather from the st reet, without interf ering with th e traf fic and on our own premises. An audience can be secured in five minutes at any time of the day or night, thu s providing the best place for personal work we have ever had. Num bers of men are brought to Chri st each day. In connection with thi s work, a noon-day prayer meeting is held, and a Men's Bible Class on Sunday afternoon. The hundreds of young men who are coming to the city afford us an unu sual opportunity of reaching them at the crucial time. This is a real training school for the practical work of lea rning how to preach by preaching. The Fishermen's Club On Monday evening, April 16, 1906, a little group of seventeen young men gathered together to study the Bible, and to engage in personal work. Under the leadership of Rev. T. C. Horton a systematic and inspirational study of the Bible was begun.
