CHANGES IN CURRICULA With the opening of the Fall Semester, 1930, some changes are being made in the cu rri cu la of the Institute. The General Course has been strengthened in Bible subjects, and is the on ly two year co urse offered. The Miss ionary Course, the Mus ic Course, the Christian Education Cou rse, the Chri sti an Service Medical Co urse, and the J ewish Miss ions Course, a re a ll three yea r courses, with a strong basis of Bible subjects . A fou r year course is being offered (Course VII)-Four Year Bible Collegiate Course. Eveni ng classes will be held each Friday evening du ring the schoo l year. The purpose of the F riday Even ing Classes is to aid the chu r ches of the metropolitan district through th e t raining o f Sunday School teachers and worke r s. Beginning with the Fall of 1930, the Institute is putting on an intensive Chr istian Education Course, lead ing to a diploma or certificate, which may be taken by those desiring such a course. We believe these various changes in the curricula very materially strengthen the cou rses being offe red in the Bibl e Institute. The two courses wh ich are being offered for the first time a r e the J ewish Missions Course and the Four Year Bible Co llegiate Course. Th e course in Chri stian Ed ucat ion which is being offered in the Evening Classes, likewise is a new featu re. These classes , we beli eve, wi ll more adequately meet the needs of the churches of Los Angeles and vic in ity than the Evening Classes here tofo r e offered.
