Diplomas D;plomas will be granted upon the fo llowing conditi ons: 1. Two yea rs' res idence in Los Angeles, and at tendance upon the prescribed classes . Due credit will be a llowed for work done in our Evening or Co rrespondence Schools, or in other inst itut; ons, which is simi lar or equival ent to that offered by the Institute . The amount of cred it wi ll be dec ided by the teacher in the parti cular course in quest ion. The maintenance of a consistent Chri st ian character , such maintenance to be decided by the facu lty of the Inst itute . 3. Commendable zeal in practical Chri stian work. 4. Proficiency in E ngli sh, proven by the presentation of a sat;sfactory graduating thesis, and by a public address. 5. Pass ing g rad es in the courses of study. T he pass ing g rad e in all studi es is 75. Stud ents receiving less than th is mark mu st take the work over again, or offer a special examinati on as the teacher in the pa rti cular course may designate. 6. Soundness in doct rine, to be determined by the Facu lty. There is a charge of one do ll ar and a half ($1.50) for the diploma. Letters of Recommendation Letters of recommendation a re not given to stud ents. .'\ student' s g rades in hi s stud ies, however, will be glad ly furni shed when officia ll y req uested by any inst ituti on desiri ng to give credit s for work done at the Inst itute. In such case the name and address of the Registrar mu st be furni shed to the Secretary o f the Faculty of the Tn st itute.
