Hospital and Nurse's Fund E,·ery reg istered student. rooming in the In st itute bu:ld ings. is requi red to contr ibute three dollars ($3 .00) each semes ter to the H ospital and N urse 's Fund. Thi s ent itles the student to the sen· ices of the res ident nurse in cases not requ ir ing hos pital ca re. \\ ' here th e st udent mu st go to the hosp ita l, the Fund w;ll defray the charge fo r room and boa rd in one of the best hosp ital s in the city, to the amount of e ighty dollars ($80 .00). This does not include physicians · fees, cha rges for surgical operat ions. ambulance sen ·ice, or med icines . :\laternity cases. or illness clue to chron ic conditions ex isting before enter;ng the Jnst itute. or acc idents cl ue to ca relessness or recklessness, wi ll not entitle a stud ent to the priYi leges of the F une!.
