Practical Christian Work Required. Enrolled students are required to engage in definite Christian work in connection with their own church, under the supervision of the Secretary of the Evening School, the student thus putting in practice what has been studied in the class room. Weekly Reports. Students are furnished blank forms on which a careful report of study and work must be made and handed in weekly. Cards on which to record names and addresses of enquirers or converts are furnished, the purpose being to get every convert connected with some church. How Many Classes. While the course is arranged so that persons of average ability, employed during the day, can take all the classes, the Secretary will always be glad to arrange the number and character of classes attended to suit the special needs of students. Our aim is to help each individual as much as possible. Credit Cards. Students completing a term's work and passing satisfactory examina­ tions are given a Credit card showing their standing in the examinations. Certificate. A Certificate is given students satisfactorily completing the three years' course. Place of Meeting. Sessions are held in the Lecture Room of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, 536-558 South Hope Street. When to Begin. The Evening School will hold its first session on Thursday evening, November 1st, 1917. Students should enter at once. See page 11. Expenses. A nominal fee of one dollar per term is cha rged for Registration. This must accompany application for membership. There are no tuition fees, except for private lessons in music as follows: For private vocal lessons or piano lessons, students are given a special rate of one dollar per lesson. Relation to the Day School of the Institute. Credits in the Day School for work done in the Evening School will be awarded in accordance with the amount of ground covered in any particular course of study considered in its relation to that study in the Day School. A Diploma of the Day School, may be secured by a student of the Evening School, after five terms work in the Evening School and one year's residence and work in the Day School. Admission. Intending students should apply either personally or by mail, for an Application for Admission form, and after fi ll ing it return it at once with the Registration Fee to THE SECRETARY OF THE EVENING SCHOOL, BIBLE INSTITUTE OF LOS ANGELES. The Secretary will also be glad to answer any questions about the work.
