Registration Fee There is a regi stration fee of one dollar ($1.00) a term. This is payable on the Regi strat ion Day of each term, before the student's class schedul e is made out. Th e Cashi er ' s receipt must be presented to the Regist rar. This fee will not be re funded in case a student leaves the In stitute. Hospital and Nurse's Fund Tuition Fees There are no tui t ion fees; but for private lessons in vocal and instrumental music there is a nominal charge as follows : Eve ry regi stered student, rooming in the main or adja cent In stitute bui ldings and boarding in the students' dining room, is required to contribute two dollars ($2 .00) a term to the Hosp ita l and Nurse's F un d. This entitles the student to the serv ices of the resident nurse in cases not requiring hospi tal care . Where the student must go to the hospita l, the F und will defray the charge for room and board in one of the best hospitals in the city, to the amount of eigh ty dollars ($80.00). This does not include physicians' fees, charges for su rgical operations, ambulance se rvice, or med·:cmes. Illness due to chronic condi tions existing be fo re entering the Institute, or accidents clue to ca relessness or recklessness, wi ll not ent itle a_ student to the pri vileges of the Fund. In case of an epidemic, the F und will be used as far as it wi ll go, when a further contributi on will be necessary. Regi stered student s rooming in the Institute dormitories, but not boarding in the students' dining room, are required to contribute one dollar ($1.00) a term to the fund, which en titles them to the services of the nurse in cases of sli ght ill ness, but not to the Hospital service.
