istic basis. In a constructive way we will endeavor to show that any theory that can honestly claim to be scientific and hi storical in its dealing with the fact of religion must make provision for all the facts of ex peri ence and not arbitrarily exclude any fact in the interest of the theory. It is one thing to have a con sistent and constructive philosophy of hi story, and quite another thing to doctor and reconst ruct history to fit into our philosophy. This course will aim to give a t rue philosophy of religion as it is actually found in history and human experience. Any such philoso phy must in the very nature of things center in Chri st, for He is the supreme express ion of religion from whatever angle we approach it .
