T he Syntheti c method of Bible study a ims to provide the student with the fo llowing: First: A comprehensive grasp of the genera l contents of the entire Bible so th at the main features of its revelation may be seen and unde rstood. Second: A bringing together and summing up of the general content s so that the mu tual relati onships and ha rmony of the component parts a re recogni zed . Third: A recogniti on of the progressive cha rac ter and deve lopment of th e divine revela ti on as set fo rth in the Scri p tures.
