Special arrangements are made for the accommodation of foreign missionaries returned on furlough . 3. Graduate Students. Graduate students are those who having completed the two years' course of the Institute wish to remain for further work. A ll the privileges of the regular student are granted them. Their class room work and assign ments are arranged in conference with the Secretary of the Faculty. Vacations The regular classes of the Institute are not in session dur ing Ju ly, August, and Septembe r, though special lectures are given from time to time during those months. Between each term provision is made for a vaca ti on, vary ing from ten days to two weeks . ( See calendar, page 35.) Term Certificates Term certificates are given to those who have been present from the opening (Registration Day) to the close ( Gradua tion Exercises) of the Term, ( excused absences excepted), who have regularly attended the assigned classes and passed the examinati ons in those classes, and whose practical work and Christian character have approved them to the faculty. Diplomas Diplomas will be granted upon the following conditions: 1. Two years' residence in Los Angeles, and attendance upon the prescribed classes. Due credit will be allowed for work done in other institu tions which is similar or equivalent to that offered by the Institute. The amount of credit will be decided by the teacher in the particular course in question. Note -The Bible course of the Moody
Bible Institute of Ch icago being almost identi cal with the r egu la r course of the Bible Insti tute of Los Angeles, it is possible to grant stu dents of that insti tution equal credit for studies taken there, and also to grant equal allowance for residence there to the extent of one year. Such students must be in resi dence here at least one year in order to be eligible for graduation.
