Information for Intending Students Men who desire to become students of the Bible Institute should write to the Superintendent of Men ( women, to the Superintendent of Women) fo r an appli cation form, and afte r having filled it out by answering all the questi ons carefully, should return it to him. No one wi ll be enrolled as a student until the refe rences gi ven have been heard from. The mere fi lling out of the form of application does not necessarily imply acceptance of the appli cant. If the references and the applica ti on prove satisfactory, the applicant will be notified promptly. There are several lines of railroads entering Los Angeles, coming in at different stati ons, and it is imposs ible to meet students at the train s. On reaching Los Angeles, inquiry should be made as to the trolley line leading to the Institute. The Institute is located at 536-558 South Hope St. , a few doors from the corner of West Sixth St. Direct lines of trol ley from some of the stati ons, pass the corner of Sixth and Hope Sts., and from all other stations, ca rs can be taken, from which transfer s can be had to the trolleys passing near the In stitute. S tudents coming to the Institute, although they will not be met at the train, should notify the Superintendent of Men or Women as the case may be, by what road they are coming, and the time their train is schedul ed to reach Los Angeles. Entrance Requirements All men entering the Institute should be at least 21 years of age, and all women 20 years of age. Exceptions are made to this rule only by vote of the facu lty. Those coming to the Institute mu st be in reasonably sound health. All applicants should have a common school education, or its equivalent. Oftentimes a business training is equivalent, or more than an equivalent, to a common school education. Moreover, there are men and women whose English education is very deficient, but who have certain gifts that qualify them for many fo rms of Chri stian work, and they are often used to
