Tuition Fees There are no tuition fees; but for private lessons in vocal and instrumental music there is a nominal charge as fol lows:

There is a regi stration fee of one dollar ($1.00) a term. Thi s is payable on the Regi stration Day of each term, before the student' s class schedule is made out. The Cashier's receipt must be presented to the Registrar. Th is fee wi ll not be re funded in qse a student leaves the Institute. Hospital and Nurse's Fund Every regi stered student, rooming in the main or adja cent Institute buildings and boarding in the students' dining room, is required to contribute two dollars ($2.00) a term to the Hospital and Nurse' s Fund. This entitles the student to the services of the res'ident nurse in cases not requ iring hospi tal care. Where the _s tudent must go to the hospital , the Fund will defray the charge for room and board in one of the best hospitals in the city, to the amount of eighty dollars ($80.00) . This does not include physicians' fees, charges fol' ·surgical operations, ambulance se rvice, or medicines. Illness due to chronic conditions existing before entering the In stitute. or accidents clue to carelessness or recklessness, will not entit le a student to the privileges of the Fund. In case of an epidemic, the Fund will be used as far as it will go, when a further contributi on will be necessa ry. Regi stered student s rooming in the Inst itute dormitories, but not boarding in the student s' dining room, are requ ired to contribute one dollar ($1.00) a term to the fund , which en titles them to the se rvices of the nurse in cases of sli ght ill ness; but not to the Hospital service. Expense of Room and Board Unmarried students are required to room and board in the Institute buildings, but in the case of a student who resides with parents or relatives in the city, or whose employment is of such a nature as to necessitate living outside the Institute buildings, Fifty
