Note-The courses of the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago being almost identical with those of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, it is possible to grant stu­ dents of tha t institution equal credit for stud ies taken there, and also to gran t equal allowances for residence there to the extent of one year. 2. Approved Christian character. 3. Commendable zeal in practical Christ ian work. 4. Proficiency in English. 5. Passing grades in all the required work. 6. Soundness in doctrine, to be determined by the facu lty. DEGREES The Bible Institute is gratified to announce that it is now able to g ive recognition in the way of appropriate degrees to those who are qualified by previous work and who meet the requirements of such degrees. A fuller announcement may be expected in the future when our regular catalogue appears. CERTIFICATE-For those who have covered the work of a two or three year course, but who have not met the full requirements for a DIPLOMA of the Institute-a_CER­ TIFICATE will be awarded . On the completion of the full requirements and the surrender of the certificate, the holder will be entitled to the Diploma of the Institute acco rding to the Course of Study pursued. INSTRUCTION IN ENGLISH Beginning with the Fall Semester, 1931, instruction in English became a required subject for all students who have not completed English for a four-year high school course or its equivalent, and who expect to receive the diploma of the Institute. For such students it will be necessary to prolong their stay in order to complete the regular work of the Institute in add ition to their requirement in Engli sh.
