The second type of sellers are the manufacturers themselves. About 90% of market exhibitors are resellers. Sourcing Manager Wen: “I always start chatting to find out if the market exhibitor is a reseller or a manufacturer. That means asking various questions about the refurbishment process and stocks, among other things. I can find out if someone is only reselling screens by asking simple questions about stocks and quality. If someone cannot give me a straight answer about their stocks for a certain model, I know I am talking to a reseller and not to a manufacturer. If I ask if it is possible to deliver a certain screen component of a certain quality and the answer is negative, then I also know that I am talking to a reseller.”
