DALTON’S PLAN
Dalton teaching aids help to enable the implementation of The Dalton Plan pedagogical education technique. Instead of the traditional classroom mo- del, learning takes place through experience and action. The focus is on the individual work of students while the teacher’s role is to guide students and meet their various educational needs. The Dalton Plan allows the teacher to adjust the pace of learning to real predispositions of children. It teaches them to rely on themselves, to take action and to think independently. Children de- velop a sense of responsibility and they are motivated to search for the best and simplest work strategies. When creating the teaching aids for the Dalton Plan technique, the visual aspcet is crutial. The visualisation is extremely va- luable and effective.

Clock. Dalton Plan NS9600
The clock has a visible clock hand and a dial face with time intervals and corre- sponding colours. This division is clear, and it makes the clock perfectly suited for use in preschools and schools. It helps to understand the concept of time, the rules of determining it and to plan the work in a given period. Before children start their individual work, the teacher should
specify which colour represents the time they have to complete the task.
