#1’s used An AGGRESSIVE communication style • Can get easily frustrated • Often speaks loudly or yells • Can be unwilling to hear other points of view

• Often interrupts or does not listen • Can be disrespectful of others

#2’s used An assertive communication style • Can listen without interruption • Will clearly state needs • Often willing to compromise • Chooses to stand up for own rights • Has confident body language and/or tone of voice

#3’s used A passive communication style • Prioritises the needs of others • Softly spoken/quiet • Does not express own wants and needs • Chooses to avoid or hide away instead of speaking up • Can be easily taken advantage of by others
