It supports us in lots of ways. It can energise us, keep us alert and allow us to perform better when we’re challenged by those moments in life where we need to step up! Sometimes we can experience stress at a level that overwhelms us. It may feel like there’s too much on your plate and you might feel stuck, foggy or panicked. This level of stress isn’t helpful, so it’s awesome to have a few ways to manage it up your sleeve.

It may surprise you that stress

is in the body for a reason!

This is a stress bucket- a certain amount of stress is important to get out of bed, prepare for a test, or get up on stage during drama class.

However, when our bucket overflows, stress becomes too much. We all have different sized buckets, depending on our stress tolerance. Lots of things can impact our tolerance, like our physical health, fatigue, level of support, and coping skills!
