Daily Nurse Covers School Nursing: The Overlooked Career Catalyst Nurses represent the backbone of health care. They are on the frontlines of care delivery and practice, while also enabling communication and bridging the gaps between patients, their family and caretakers, and the rest of the medical industry. In this eye-opening article , Dr. Juliet Kolde shares how stepping into a public school clinic unlocked a whole new world of public health leadership, mental health advocacy, and creative wellness education. A Job Well Done: Celebrating a Successful Lockout Process The Bursar’s Office would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the recent Lockout process. Your collaboration, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our learners made all the difference. We are especially grateful for your quick response and support in unlocking learner accounts, ensuring they were able to post attendance with little to no delay. Your responsiveness, teamwork, and care had a direct and meaningful impact on our learners. Thanks to your efforts, learners have been able to continue their academic journey without interruption as we begin the Fall 2025 Semester. This is a powerful example of what we can accomplish when we come together, united by a shared commitment to putting our learners first.

Nightingale College Attends Emergency Nursing Association (ENA) Annual Conference From Sept. 17-20, the College attended the ENA annual conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. This event brought together a vast network of emergency nurses and emergency department professionals from all levels to help shape the future of the industry. Their decisions play a significant role in determining what is purchased and implemented across the industry. A presence at this event allowed the College to promote its nursing programs, get industry insight, and have direct engagement with key decision-makers. Sunset Review 2026: Legislative Efforts Underway to Support Distance Learning Nightingale is actively working with legislature in preparation for the Board of Registered Nursing’s 2026 sunset review. During this process, the Board must demonstrate its value to lawmakers. We are well-positioned to advocate for the inclusion of language in the reauthorization bill that would allow clinical rotations for accredited out-of-state distance programs. With strong legislative support, we are optimistic about a positive outcome and look forward to sharing more details soon.
