1900s

James Roney moved to the Valmont Community and leased 36-acres of land from the Inland Oil and Refinery Co.

1910

James Roney built the farmhouse.

1915

James Roney bought the property outright.

1920s to 1990s

Sometime between 1920 and 1970, two rear additions were added, dates unknown.

1968

Robert Roney passed away in 1968 and Ruby Roney relocated to Niwot.

1972

Kenneth C. Schneider purchased the property.

1990s

Boulder Parks and Recreation Department acquired the property.

1999

Roney Farmhouse designated a local landmark by the City of Boulder.
