mains largely unnoticed because we pay little attention to the kinds of type which the names are set forth in die King James Version of our Bible. Sometimes these terms are used in combination as Lord with a capital L, capital O-R-D with a God capital G with a small o-r-d. They’re used to gether and sometimes they’re turned around the other way so that you have a capital L with a small o-r-d for Lord used together with capital G and capi tal 0-D for GOD. The changes are there my friends to detect the charac teristics and attributes of God. Now one of the striking differences between the Authorized version which is the King James version and the Re vised Versions of the Old Testament is seen in the use of the term, the Lord with a capital L and a small o-r-d. In the former is the Lord and in the Revised, it is Jehovah. An example of this is found in the familiar passage of Psalm 23, verse 1. Now in the King James version it is the Lord is my Shepherd but in the Revised version it is Jehovah is my Shepherd. Now this is a very helpful change, a change for the better and a great improvement on the King James Version. Those seek ing occasion against the Word of God and the unity of its divine authorship have seen these various names of the Lord and they have jumped to the conclusion that they reveal a multipli city of human authors each being known by the name that he happens to use of God. To the unbeliever who is looking for problems, the first five books of the Bible are a compilation of accounts, taken from various documents. In no case do they see the real purpose in tended of God in the names by which He has made Himself to become known. In the Scripture we will not have an opportunity to examine more than five of these wonderful divine names and titles of the Lord but we did want to share them with you because we be lieve they will be a blessing to your own soul.

"Hitting the ceiling is not the right way to get up in the world." * * * MORBUS SABBATICUS is perhaps bet ter known as Sunday sickness and is a disease peculiar to church mem bers. The symptoms vary but it never interfers with the appetite nor does it last longer than twenty-four hours. No physician is ever called and it always proves fatal in the end . . . to the soul. It is very contageous, especially to the younger members of the fam ily. The attack comes on suddenly every Sunday — no symptoms are felt on Saturday night while TV is watched. The person awakes, as usual, feel ing fine, eats a hearty breakfast. About 9:00 o'clock the attack comes on and lasts until around noon. In the afternoon the patient is able to take a ride and read the Sunday papers. The patient eats a hearty supper but the attack soon comes on again and lasts through the evening. But the patient, strangely enough, is able to go to work on Monday morning. * "People who speak volumes usual ly end up on the shelf." Did You Talk to Him? I started early with my chores, But even so I started wrong. My labor yielded me no gain— I should have started with a song. * * I battled time Ibis trying day To find my efforts were a loss; I had to leave some plans undone— Tasks multiplied and I grew cross. Tonight I ponder while 1 rest— AH day I fought rebellious tares. Yet that has always been my lot When days do not begin with prayers. "If you are not as close to God now as you once were— you need not guess W HO it was that moved!"
