There are religious symbols in this space, as well as a rotating exhibition of creative works from St. Thomas-Elgin Public Art Centre’s Permanent Collection. Hospice is a community effort brought to fruition through gen- erous contributors and donors, selfless volunteers, dedicated physicians and more. Moreover, their Head Chef, Jamie, will be replenishing their café as a means to ensure that nourishing snacks are available. There is also a washer-dryer for families to utilize during their time at Hospice, along with supplies in each resident’s room. With care staff always nearby, residents can enjoy uninterrupted time with their loved ones. For guests staying overnight, each resident room has a couch which transitions into a queen-sized bed. There is the family ‘bunkie’, which serves as a guest room for families to occupy on a first- come, first-served basis.
