Playcation Travel LTD: Where Magic Makes Way for Memories! by Peri Hayes Opened in 2023, co-owner Angela Weir and her team discuss their locally accessible Playcation Travel. With Francine Cochrane located in Toronto, her co-owner and business partner, Angela honoured her 15 years of experience as a Travel Advisor through establishing her own local agency. She reveals her motivation to nourish her presence in the St. Thomas community, bringing on 26 agents concentrated in London and the surrounding area -- with clients branching to the United States. As Angela beams, “My inspiration is to service clients and grow with them; to become a staple in this community. While there are men with this company, we are female-focused. These women have full-time careers, and are choosing to celebrate this mutual love of Disney World and family travel with me. I want to empower their business and facilitate opportunities for them, supporting others to be the superstars that they can be.” Kate Andrews is one of Angela’s first St. Thomas Agents; she has joined the Chamber and enjoys attending various events. Agent Melissa Traichevich thereafter became involved through her connection to Kate. Having been a former client of Angela’s, Agent Chrystal Harris began in June of this year. These women are fully-trained Travel Advisors with an evident passion for supporting clients along their respective travel journey. They plan for cruises, resorts and more with individuals, couples and multigenerational families. Working year-round, each Travel Advisor engages in both in-person and
virtual meetings with their clients to ensure that their individual needs are being met and their vision is understood. As these four professionals agree, they are curating an experience for their clients -- valuing comfort and mutual trust. Playcation Travel LTD. prioritizes the client, aiming to organize the moving parts and remove the stress of planning travel.
