Separation Day In America

me.” As far as the Church and State separation thingy, it does indeed, exist. However, the original in- tent is that the State is restrained from interfering with the Church practicing its beliefs, many of which are political by nature. By the way and for the record, Jesus was involved in politics if that helps you. “As Goes the Church, So Goes the Nation” There is a lot of talk about election interference, integrity and cheating but let’s be honest here, folks; if we are to ever get back to fair elections, we need to ensure that the public has critical and objective information instead of today’s one-sided propaganda. That is not going to happen as long as the pastors remain silent. Church leaders need to encourage their congregations to be “salt and light in the world.” Christians must begin to light a candle in their communities so that more can see the truth. When that happens, then and only then will we be able to assure that schools tell children the truth and at the same time en- sure the media stops their jury tampering with the voting public. I will close with these two questions. What — if anything — did your pastor say about this past No- vember’s election and how should you react as a fol- lower of Christ to their actions or lack thereof? Yes, we are talking about the same Jesus Christ who was involved in politics and crucified for His efforts.
Money: Political Econ 101 It is said that “the love of money is the root of all evil.” Functionally, money is the power to make deci- sions. The more money you have,
the more decisions you get to make and conversely, the less money you have, the less power you have to make decisions. For example and in the political economic world, the more money you give the gov- ernment the less decisions you can make. Govern- ment will make more decisions on your behalf — whether you agree or not. With this in mind, did you know that there is one day of the year that has more effect on your money and decision making process than any other day of the year? Many of you might have immediately thought that would be April 15th but you would be wrong. Nope, actually November of every year, and more specifi- cally, the first non-Saints day Tuesday of that month is what one might consider to be the biggest money making decision you will be making for the year and possibly the rest of our life. A time of year when your neighbors, local politicians and public institutions will help you decide how much of your hard earned money you actually get to use. Local tax issues, School levies, State taxes and, of course, who you choose as your public representatives as well as other voter issues all play a large role in your future economic decision making. Separation of You from Your Money Elected public servants will tell you what you need and how they will save you money by separating you from some of yours. They’ll even spend money on things that you don’t agree with but hey, that’s a Democracy for you, right? Sadly, separation doesn’t end there. It seems that as the byproduct of this money extraction process, you will find that family members, neighbors and business associates be- come more distant. In many cases, they find excuses to avoid you and are suddenly critical of your desire to keep your hard earned money.
Public Schools, The Press and Pastors Before, during and after the November election there are three factions that will play a critical role in the decision making process and the temperament of the citizens during this November separation day and are in the end, responsible for the eventual out- comes.

Those are PUBLIC SCHOOLS which in- doctrinate and produce left-leaning chil- dren who eventually become voters and activists favoring dependency over free- doms, Socialism versus Capitalism. The number two contributor is the PRESS/NEWS MEDIA, which tampers with evidence, producing a flow of positive infor- mation for one side and negative feelings to- ward the other, oftentimes generating hate, fear and/or envy. And last but not least is the church and especially its PASTORAL LEADERSHIP . . . or is that an oxymoron? Wait what? The Church Pastors? Are you not aware of the separation of church and state? How can the church influence elec- tions and still remain Christian? Good question and the answer, of course, is the problem. For the most part, the churches do absolutely nothing of any consequence when it comes to educating, motivating and instructing their congregations on the is- sues of the day — which they are permitted to do under our American Constitution. A document based on the “laws of nature and . . . nature’s GOD!” In All Things, Balance A few years ago, I asked several pastors in our area if they would post a “Vote Bibli- cally” yard sign in front of their churches. None and I repeat, NONE would do so! I even checked with the local city and town- ship which said they would have no prob- lem with churches putting “Vote Biblically” signs in their yards. I’m still waiting for these pastors to get “back with

Separation From Your Family, Friends and Associates
These annual Tuesday events more importantly separate neighbors from neighbors, citizens from cit- izens and sadly, family members from family mem- bers. For example, when it comes to local public schools taxing issues, you might have a family mem- ber who has children in public school, is a teacher or benefits in some way by taking some of your hard earned money. You, of course, must remain silent or take a chance on distancing yourself from a family member, lest you be accused of child abuse. Amen? The same rule applies to friends, neighbors and as- sociates. School Levies are just one example of many. Separation From Your Freedoms and Liberties Elections also can separate you from your liberties like gun control legislation, freedom of speech, prop- erty rights and in extreme cases, separate you from your children as a parent through CPS actions.
