And for the honoring of God’s law amongst men and the governments of men. Men must be pointed to Christ and His law and Word. “Let us be Christian men and women. Let us do right by men — but let us remember to do right by Christ.

At 2:12 pm September 10th, I learned of the shooting and posted the following. “Charlie Kirk shot in the neck. There has been a low-level civil war in our nation for about 6 years now — but grows. Praying for Char- lie.” And yes, there has been a low-level civil war going on in our nation. Assassi- nations, riots, lawless- ness, upheaval. Left vs. Right.
I went on to say in the

And under- stand there are many self-absorbed men who are using the current hoopla and virtue sig- nalling for their own ends — to promote themselves and their organizations. Do not get caught up in the re-writing of who Charlie was — and the pronouncements of sainthood and near deification. Understand the connec- tion between TPUSA and the Republican Party. The Party changes the platform to be more baby-murder and homo friendly, while TPUSA brings Christians and others into the Party.

I received some blowback from a handful of people who thought I had no right to make my post about praying for Charlie, as I had spoken against some of his actions in the past. So I posted the next morning — Septem- ber 11th — the following: “Some people think I had no right to — or am even a hypocrite — for praying for Charlie Kirk and encouraging others to do the same after he was shot, because I spoke against his actions in the past — namely, that he put an open sodomite on stages across our state and gave him millions of dollars to get the vote out for the Republicans. But I do not see how one precludes the other. If a brother has been shot, I am going to pray for him. If a brother is doing public wrong, I am going to speak against it and rebuke the actions. Both are right to do. May we be faithful to Christ and abide by His Word. And yes, please pray for his family.” And, of course we pray for his family — it was horrific. Incredibly evil. It is absolutely heart-rending. The following morning, September 12th — less than 48 hours after the shooting — I sent out an exhortation to our congregation, Mercy Seat. I later (about 1:00 pm that day) posted it to Facebook. Here is what I said: “Dear Brothers and Sisters, All praise and honor unto our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! “As you know by now, Charlie Kirk was as- sassinated in Utah two days ago. I posted about his being shot on Facebook just 15 minutes after the shooting. I stated: ‘Charlie
