The number of townhome listings in Richmond rose to 456 in May, 1.8% above the previous month and a 53% increase vs May 2018. The 54 townhome sales in May were 29% above April but a drop of 28% vs last year. The townhome sales-to-listings ratio increased to 12%, as Richmond’s townhome market transitioned to balanced market territory. The benchmark price for townhomes in May was $776,700, virtually unchanged from April and 8% lower than in May 2018. The average sold price was $817,026 (3% below April) with an average PSF sales price of $534 (7% below April).
