The 800 detached listings in Vancouver West in May were down 0.6% compared to April and 15% below May 2018. May’s detached sales (at 86) were up 34% month- over-month but 4% lower year-over-year. The sales-to-listings ratio in May rose to 11%, keep- ing Vancouver West’s detached segment in buyer’s market territory. At $2.93M, the benchmark price for detached homes was 0.7% below April and dropped 15% from May 2018. The average sold price of $3.19M was 2% above April 2019 but 21% below May 2018.
