PCNY Member Experience Holiday 2018



PRESIDENT Dear Member, The holidays are my favorite time of year and we have many celebrations to look forward to this season. Our Thanksgiving Buffet will be held on November 22, followed by Chef Michael’s Holiday Brunch on December 15,The Members’ Holiday Bash on December 18 and our Not Quite Christmas Eve Dinner on December 21. In addition, we look forward to the NewYear when we host our Young Alumni’s Annual InterClub Snow Ball on January 26.The Club will be bustling this winter so be sure to reserve your space early. If you need a break from shopping and sight-seeing with the family, come by the Bar & Grill for some Holiday Cheer: Complimentary Coffee, Cookies & More every Saturday in December leading up to the holidays. And while you’re out shopping, please help us give back to our neighboring communities by participating in our Annual Toys for Tots drive. It was great to see so many of you from Princeton, NYU,Williams, Columbia and other schools in attendance at the Annual Meeting on October 23.There was an informative discussion and video presentation of the new lounge/business center renovation beginning in the NewYear.We also took the time to honor six employees for their 20 years of service: Waiter Mohammed “Saleh” Ahmed,Waiter Mohammed Alin, Room Attendant Maxima Montfort,Waiter “Mosh” Ullah, Grill Chef, Edward Ventosilla andWaiter Mohammed Salam. These employees have shown great dedication and have embraced the Club as their second home working tirelessly to make the Club a better place for all of us. Our thanks and congratulations to all of them. As a gentle reminder, the holidays are an excellent time to show the Club’s employees your appreciation for their dedicated service throughout the year.The Annual Holiday Fund is shared with all Club employees.You may use the envelope provided in this issue, pick one up at the Front Desk, or email our accounting department with your gift. The holiday season provides time to reflect and give thanks. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as the Club’s President and I would like to thank the Club’s General Manager, Jason Pallen, and his executive team, as well as the members of the President’s Council, the Board of Governors, the Advisory Board and the Club’s committees for dedicating their time and skills to help provide a rewarding and satisfying member experience. I hope you will visit during this winter season and share the Club’s festive holiday atmosphere with your family and friends.
