DeSoto Public Utilities Offers Free Composting Class ‐ August 29, 2017 6:30 to 8:30 pm Is your trash can full at the end of the week? Did you know that you can reduce the waste carried to landfills by composƟng more and throwing away less? This program teaches the composƟng process, the plans now for your neighborhood block party or event on NaƟonal Night Out. Some ciƟes in Texas have elected to celebrate NaƟonal Night Out on the first Tuesday in October when the weather is much cooler. If that sounds good to you, the DeSoto Police agree and will host a special crime prevenƟon event for the whole community on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm at the DeSoto Civic Center.
