COMMUNITY SERVICE During the 34th Administration, the Fraternity and the Kappa Alpha Psi®- Foundation, Inc., worked in tandem to deliver scholarships, donations, and contributions to endowments so suc- cessfully until it provided a blueprint for local success between chapters and local foundations. An example of that collaborative impact was demonstrated through the fraternity’s Grand Chapter Meeting Community Service Project, which was held on July 15, 2023. Tampa Alumni and the Tampa Alumni Guide Right Foundation presented the Skills Center with a check for $80,000 that will support the construction of its Academic Café. The Skills Center is a nonprofit organization focused on creating academic and leadership
success through sports. The café is an online digital tutorial that will operate 24 hours a day as a part of the center. The café is a part of a $123.5 million campus in East Tampa. Edwin A. Narain (Zeta Chi 1996) of AT&T presented a $40,000 check
to the fraternity for its Guide Right program. It was a most auspicious start to a content-rich gathering of men of culture, patriotism, and honor. It was followed by church service held at
