Financial Literacy, Veterans Affairs, Senior Kappas, National Guide Right. What was unique about this experi- ence is the 34th Administration’s focus on ensuring the entire day’s activities were devoted to the family at every stage of life. The Tampa Alumni Chapter raised the bar in embracing the Administra- tion’s focus on this facet. For example, it secured a local Presenting Sponsor partnership with Genentech, the founder of the biotechnology indus- try. The company, which focuses on pursuing groundbreaking science to discover and develop medicines for people with serious and life-threaten- ing diseases, also sponsored a plenary health and wellness workshop and community engagement activities during Family Day. AXA EQUITABLE Another unique partnership was between the Fraternity and AXA Equitable. Two panels were convened on collective financial equity within the local community. The panels focus on financial planning as a means to enhance community stewardship. The panels were led by Richard Allen, Executive Vice President of the Southeastern Regional of Equitable Advisors. (Orlando (FL) AL 2019). AXA Equitable also provided job opportunities for fraternity members. GOOD HEALTH WINS Kappa Alpha Psi has enjoyed a strong partnership with Good Health Wins. Synovia Moss, project manager with the National Council of Negro Women, created a collaboration with

40 national organizations. As a result, Kappa Alpha Psi is part of a coalition that aims to boost vaccine confidence in communities of color. Leveraging our network of chapters and local leaders, Good Health Wins can pro- duce culturally responsive approaches to vaccine awareness. During the conclave, recipients of grant awards received their mandatory training to meet the contractual obligations associated with those awards REGIONS Regions Bank has been a longtime partner with Kappa Alpha Psi, whether it was being a resource for LEAD Kappa, the Undergraduate Leader- ship Institute or providing multiple

resources to increase the financial liter- acy of the Fraternity’s membership. “Regions Bank has been great for us.,” stated Reuben A. Shelton III, Esq., 34th Grand Polemarch of Kapp Alpha Psi.  THE GUY LEVIS GRANT AWARD of Kappa Alpha Psi is the highest award available exclusively to a non-alumni member of the Fraternity for meritorious achievement. The award consists of a gold medallion bearing a likeness of Founder Guy Levis Grant and a framed certificate of merit. A duplicate framed certificate of merit is also presented to the chapter of affiliation of the recipient.
