Kappa would form bold new relationships, such as those with Indiana University, St. Jude’s Children’s hospital and develop a host of corpo- rate strategic partnerships. “Come home to Kappa” would ring throughout the land as a signature of his administration’s Centennial Campaign, which raised $1.7M for the fraternity. He established the Under- graduate Leadership Institute (ULI), National Founders Day Celebration, KAPPAC (Keeping African Americans Political – Polit- ical Action Committee), Strategic Corporate Alliance Committee, Sports & Entertainment Commit- tee, Health and Wellness Committee and was the moving force in the devel- opment of the Kappa Credit Card. “Our brothers knew Sam as someone who was competent not only in the fraternity workings but also in finance and admin- istration because he was an administrator, as was I, and we worked together to develop something that was effective and significant,” stated 23rd Northeast- ern Province Polemarch
